Devonshire

. . . time is a friend that walks with us all our lives; though my journey has ended, Time will carry me for eternity...

Patricia Mack aka Kate Knowall
1948 - 2004

It was a very sad moment in time, November 26th. 2004 to learn of the loss of our friend and founder Patricia Mack aka "Kate Knowall" of The Devonshire Faire. It was Patti's ambition and drive that started the renaissance faire here in Arizona in 1982. I don't know how we are going to move forward without her encouragement and smile and her ever so visible orange hat. It is her ambition, drive and the inspiration of her memory that will keep us going. It is with a heavy heart that we say fare thee well to our beloved leader and dear friend. Dearest Pat your spirit will forever be in our hearts.

Thank you to all of those who sent their heartfelt wishes and words of kindness to Pattis memory. If you would like to read the memories and thoughts of love click here.
If you would like to send your thoughts to the tribute page send them here and we will be sure they get posted. Thank you.

The Devonshire Renaissance Faire Committee would like to remember Suzanne Houghtelin who passed away in an accident on December 8, 2002. Susan was not only a great friend of our event, she was a former member of the Devonshire Committee. She was a Co-founder of the Celtic Living History Foundation Inc. and owner of Thistle Cot, a period costume shop. Suzanne, you will be missed but not forgotten.
